  • Accessories and 4WD fit-out

Bull bars, roof racks, driving lights, towbars and other accessories fitted to suit your vehicle.

Modifications and Victorian rules

In Victoria, many modifications must either meet the Department of Transport and Planning's guidelines (which reference the national Vehicle Standards Bulletin 14) or be assessed and certified through the Vehicle Assessment Signatory Scheme (VASS). Some modifications can affect your registration, roadworthiness and insurance, so check with your insurer too.

Before agreeing to any modification, we'll tell you whether it's work we take on and whether it is likely to need certification. Where certification is needed, it's issued by an approved VASS signatory — we'll tell you honestly whether that's something we can arrange.

The Department of Transport and Planning explains modification requirements at transport.vic.gov.au.
